December's meeting: share and share alike

As a quick aside, I'll mention that Lauren (our Treasurer) posted to the list that November's meeting was pretty monumental, what with the changing of the guard with our president(s). But we also had a local company share their FIN, a product that they make for Mac laptops. As Lauren put it,
They raffled off a couple of their products which is an All-In-One Handle and Stand designed specifically for the many of the Mac laptop models. Please visit their website and check it out.

New BoiseMacs officers: big announcement!

First, a big round of applause to our retiring President. For the past number of years we've had Co-presidents, to spread the joy and the work around, but for the past good while Rik Halsteen has been serving on his own with nary a wimper and a really great spirit and we thank him heartily for all he's done for BoiseMacs. Now: the exciting news is that we have three new Co-presidents! A welcoming round of applause to Marcia Yiapan, JT Ray, and Ron Adams.

July meeting change-out!

Our scheduled demo of Scopebox will occur at our August 12 meeting. Gerry needed to postpone due to family obligations. We'll have a regular "no presenter" type meeting for July with Q&A and freeform sharing of Mac info. In the meantime, see if any of these 25 free Mac apps "that will boost your productivity" sound useful to you.

July's BoiseMac meeting will feature video demo

If you're interested in working in video on your Mac -- or just like to see what's possible -- you're invited to this (next) month's July monthly BoiseMacs meeting where Gerry will be exploring ScopeBox software. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month, so July 8 is the date to iCal. See our meetings page for more details. BoiseMacs members have access to special offers and privileges, but our meetings are always open to all our local Treasure Valley Mac friends.
