What are BoiseMacs' favorite free Mac apps?

We received a post to the list with LifeHacker's list of favorite free Mac applications. They include: Smultron, Quicksilver, Firefox, Adium, Postbox, Unarchiver, Transmission, AppTrap, Burn, VLC, iTunes, Dropbox and Mozy. (See article for links.) I've often thought it would be a fun meeting topic to have a member share their favorite free (or shareware*) softwares. That's how I've found some real must-haves: someone I knew mentioned it to me. What do you think? Good meeting topic from time to time? And what are your favorite softwares? * Software can be commercial (created by a big company, like Adobe), or shareware (created by a small company or individual and has a cost but more modest usually) or donationware (individual creates and they ask for donation but don't require it) or freeware (what you'd think). In addition, some shareware is hampered (limited number of launches or limited number of days before you're blocked) and some can be used indefinitely (you're on the honor system).
