Parts and pieces for your wafer thin...

MacBook Air owners are finding that they are dropping into the "Early Adopters" category of a newly designed computer product. Most problems that have presented themselves to the new owners have been addressed in the Apple Forums and Apple Support.
It reminds me of a scene from a Monty Python movie where a waiter is trying to get a restaurant patron to eat a wafer thin piece of chocolate for dessert after a extremely large meal. If you think you can just buy the MacBook Air, and be merrily on your way, you might be wrong. Be ready to spend extra money and time on the "parts and pieces" to get it just right. I am attracted to the weight and size of the "Air". Every day I lug around a backpack that has as contents, a MacbookPro, a power adapter, a number of inch thick manuals and client folders, a snack pit of cables and a camera. Would the size and weight of the "Air" make a difference to me ? Maybe. I can't help but think as I run into varied client situations on a daily basis, that those needs would put me back into more parts and pieces for the "Air" to get the job done. If your a owner of a MacBook Air, Emma would like to see your comments ! If your thinking on buying a "Air" , I'd give the whole roll out thing six months, to see what filters out and in for the "parts and pieces" of ownership. The other side of the wafer thin.
