January meeting(s) hit iPhoto, online storage
In the midst of winter weather, we had another "split meeting" Wednesday night, with me (Cheryl) hosting the online contingent, which counted two participants who had a lovely time.
Lauren provided the list with a thorough run-down of the main meeting. (Thanks, Lauren!) This was a no-scheduled speaker meeting (it being an odd month). Here's an abbreviated version:
Started with talk of lack of the wireless internet (which is why we outliers on iChat couldn't poke our nose into everything). Looks like the big theme was iPhoto, slide show presentation options, online storage or sharing services. Much appreciation to Gerry W. who stepped up with lots of iPhoto ideas. More discussion of digital photography and camera settings. Sharing some of the online services discussed: http://slugmug.com/(Cheryl pipes in: there's the classic Flicker and also I know that Google has a beta for Mac of its Picasa.)

Lauren also mentions there was interest in learning more about connection of iTunes to a home theatre system {cough}Tommy, you listening{cough}. So anyone with ideas, pop up on the list or here in comments or let the officers know you'd be willing to take five or ten minutes at a meeting to share your knowledge and/or experience with the group. It's always appreciated.
